Man Arrested at Morgan Wallen Concert After Making ‘Terroristic Threat’

The threat was directed at “two individuals who were members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization”

A man was arrested at Morgan Wallen‘s Kansas City concert on Friday at Arrowhead Stadium after making a “terroristic threat” to shoot “two individuals who were members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization.” Chiefs players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes both attended the show and were seen walking out of the dressing room with Wallen. The incident delayed the concert by more than 40 minutes.

The Jackson County, Missouri, Prosecutor’s Office announced on Saturday, Aug. 3, that the man, Aaron Brown, has been charged with the Class E felony of making a terroristic threat in the second degree. Authorities first discovered the threat on social media.

“An Illinois man has been charged with a felony after he threatened on social media to shoot two individuals at a concert Friday night at Arrowhead in Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today,” the statement read. “The defendant confirmed to police where he was located at Arrowhead. The concert was delayed for 40 minutes while the defendant was located.”

The statement continued: “The defendant was charged earlier today and a $15,000 bond was set. Prosecutors requested a $250,000 cash bond.”

Wallen walked out of his dressing room alongside Kelce and Mahomes wearing a bespoke Chiefs jersey with the number seven on the front — after his high school baseball team number. The same number is also worn by Chiefs player Harrison Butker — who recently came under fire over misogynist comments made during his commencement speech at Benedictine College.

In a clip posted by a fan account on Instagram of the entrance, Wallen walked through a door backstage, followed by Kelce and then Mahomes as he excitedly shook their hands. The two players were later seen dancing and singing along to the concert from the stands.
