Last night (February 17), the Queen of Pop took to social media to reveal the announcement, which she says will be “coming soon”. While a date has yet to be confirmed for the release, Madonna has also confirmed that the record is being re-issued on vinyl as well.

To accompany the announcement, Madonna shared a trailer for the re-release, soundtracked by its titled track ‘Bedtime Story’. The trailer, which you can watch below, sees Madge rolling around in pink lingerie.

‘Bedtime Stories’ marked Madonna’s sixth album and saw a pivot in approach following three sex-driven records. On the album, she infused elements of R&B and dub with her classic brand of pop and enlisted the likes of Björk, Babyface and more for production work.

The ‘Bedtime Stories’ re-release is the latest announcement from Madonna, who last week gave fans an update on her forthcoming new music, sharing that it will be a sequel to her album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’.

“My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!! 🤍. Confessions Part 2,” read her announcement.

The update comes after Madge revealed that she had been working with Price back in December and has teased new music for 2025.

Madonna has been working with the hit producer for over two decades now, with him most widely recognised for his contributions to her hit 2005 album ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’. Since then he has gone on to work with her on three of her tours, and recently reconnected with her last year as part of her acclaimed ‘Celebration’ shows.

If 2025 sees a new album from the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker, it will mark her first LP since 2019’s ‘Madame X‘. Since her 14th record was shared, the singer has gone on to embark on a huge world tour, celebrating the hits from throughout her career. The UK dates of her ‘Celebration’ tour featured multiple sold-out stops at The O2 in London – which were given a five-star review by NME. It described the opening gig as showcasing “a series of spectacular set-pieces referencing iconic highlights from Madonna’s reign”.

The tour also marked Madonna working with Price again. Around the time of the two reconnecting, Price said: “When she announced the greatest hits tour I called her just to say, ‘Congratulations, I think this is a great idea.’ And she said, ‘I was just thinking about you, and I thought you’d be the perfect person to work with on this’,” (via The Sun).

In other news, Madonna recently praised Sabrina Carpenter’s Vogue cover which bears a striking resemblance to the pop icon’s Vanity Fair shoot from 1991.
