Madonna Drops Digital ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor Twenty Years Edition’ Featuring B-Sides & Remixes

Madonna headed back to the club on Friday (Nov. 7) with the release of Confessions on a Dance Floor Twenty Years Edition, an expanded version of the pop queen’s beloved 2005 electropop dance record featuring such beloved hits as “Hung Up,” “Sorry” and “Get Together.”

The digital deluxe edition expands the original 12-track LP with eight additional b-sides, remixes and promo-only tracks including: “Hung Up (Chus & Ceballos Remix),” “Sorry (PSB Maxi-Mix),” “Get Together (Jacques Lu Cont Mix),” “Jump (Axwell Remix)” and “Hung Up (Archigram Remix).”

The original album was released in Nov. 2005 and featured the singer collaborating with producers Mirwais, Stuart Price and Bloodshy & Avant on a seamless collection that was strung together like a DJ set, with the anniversary edition tapping the vibe by including the original cross-faded continuous mix in a digital version for the first time.

The anniversary digital refresh of Confessions comes nearly two months after Madonna announced that she is returning to her original label home, Warner Records, after nearly two decades away. Not only that, but in an Instagram post announcing the deal she also teased that she is working on a sequel to the original Confessions album.

“Almost 2 decades later — And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF – Pt. 2 2026,” Madonna teased back in September. The expanded Confessions LP comes amid a year of looking back for Madonna, which has included the release in July of her long-rumored Veronica Electronica album, a collection of eight rare and unreleased remixes of songs from her beloved 1998 Ray of Light album, as well as the upcoming revamp of her 1994 Bedtime Stories album on the upcoming (Nov. 28) eight-track Bedtime Stories — The Untold Chapter EP.
