Madness have announced a further major show for the summer of 2025, to take place at Cornwall’s Eden Project.
Last month, the band confirmed a run of three huge outdoor shows to take place in the UK next summer, at Bedfordshire’s Tofte Manor, Dreamland in Margate and Colchester’s Castle Park. Find tickets for those shows here.
Now, the veteran ska/pop group have been added to next year’s Eden Sessions, a series of musical shows at the visitor attraction and botanical gardens near St. Austell that have been running since 2002.
Madness’ show will take place on Saturday, July 12, eight years after the band’s previous appearance at the same event. Tickets are on sale now and you can find yours here.
They join previously announced 2025 Eden Sessions headliners Gary Barlow and The Script, which will both take place in June.
Rita Broe, managing director of the Eden Sessions, described Madness’ previous set at the event as a “huge success” and said she is “incredible excited” to welcome them back.
“We can’t wait to see what the band have in store for us this time around,” she told the BBC.
Madness released their most recent studio album was ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’Est La Vie’ in 2023, the 13th full-length record of their career. It arrived seven years after the release of their last record – 2016’s ‘Can’t Touch Us Now’.
The band teased ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’Est La Vie’ with singles ‘Baby Burglar’ and ‘C’Est La Vie’, as well as an intimate show at the Koko venue in London.
In other news, earlier this year they launched their very own ‘Hour Of Need’ award for fans who wished to nominate “an unsung hero in your life”. It allowed fans to thank people for having been there for them or others during challenging times.
