Mad Cool 2025: Nine Inch Nails and Geordie Greep among line-up additions as day splits revealed

Nine Inch Nails, Geordie Greep and more are among the newly announced line-up additions to Mad Cool 2025.

Other new additions include the likes of Bad Nerves, Chloé Caillet and Kingfishr.

They join the previously announced Olivia Rodrigo, Kings of Leon, Noah Kahan, punk legend Iggy Pop, Alanis Morrisette, Weezer, who will be performing in Madrid for the first time in 20 years, Thirty Second to Mars, Gracie Abrams, St. Vincent, Justice, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, The Wombats, Jet, Glass Animals and more.

This year’s edition of the long-running festival will run between July 10 and 12. It will see the event return to the Villaverde site in Madrid, which festival organisers announced this year had undergone a series of improvements including a reduction in the number of stages, as well as a general reduction in public capacity to reduce schedule conflicts and artist overlaps.

This year will also see the festival debut their first-ever Brunch! Electronik x Mad Cool, an exclusive day dedicated to showcasing the best of electronic music at the festival which will take place on Sunday July 13.

Last year’s edition of the annual Spaniard music bas saw performances from the likes of Dua Lipa, Pearl Jam, Bring Me The Horizon, The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Janelle Monáe, Nothing But Thieves, Tom Odell and more.

For Nine Inch Nails, the announcement comes as the band today (January 22) confirmed details of a 2025 UK, European and North American tour. The US rock band are due to embark on an extensive run of dates this summer, dubbed ‘Peel It Back’. It’ll mark their first live performances together since 2022.
