Machine Gun Kelly has shared a response to an article by The Onion which related to him recently having a baby with Megan Fox.
The ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’ star announced in an Instagram post that the baby girl arrived on March 27, marking the first child that he and the Transformers actor have shared together.
Now, satirical news outlet The Onion has shared a fake headline about the three of them, and caught the attention of the rock and rap star in the process.
Shared at the start of the month, the outlet published a report jokingly stating that Fox has confirmed that “she and the new baby will co-parent Machine Gun Kelly”.
“Expressing relief that they were both on the same page about custody, Megan Fox confirmed Friday that she and her new baby would be working together to co-parent Machine Gun Kelly,” the report read, also quipping that Fox shared a statement saying: “The coming months are going to be exhausting, but knowing that I have this newborn by my side to help set a good example for MGK makes it a lot less scary.”
“I’d almost forgotten how bad the late nights and the smell of vape smoke can be when you’re caring for a 34-year-old white pop-rapper, so it’s nice to feel emotionally supported by someone more mature for once,” it said she added. “It was a lot of work to Machine Gun Kelly-proof this house, but the baby and I are just happy that, for now, he still has all his fingers and toes.”
The post seemed to be a joke relating to reports that debated how Fox and MGK were planning on co-parenting the baby given their recent separation.
It apparently caught the eye of the musician too, who commented on a screenshot of the headline on Instagram page earlier this week (April 8), with a series of crying-laughing emojis. Check it out above.
This isn’t the first time that MGK has gotten people talking about the birth of his new daughter, as the initial update announcing her birth had the caption: “She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed” – leading to some thinking the baby’s name was “Celestial Seed”.
“Wait guys… her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’,” he clarified on his Stories after news outlets began sharing the reports. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”
Fox and Kelly began dating in 2020 and separated in November last year, after getting engaged and announcing that they would be having a child together.
The newborn is MGK’s first child with Megan Fox, although each of them has children from past relationships. The rapper has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie Colson Baker, whom he shares with his ex Emma Cannon. For Fox, she has three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green: Noah (12), Bodhi (11), and Journey (8).
