Long Live ‘The Black Parade’: My Chemical Romance Extend Anniversary Tour

The Black Parade is the gift that keeps giving and the tour that keeps growing. My Chemical Romance is extending their anniversary run, celebrating 20 years of the seminal record with 17 additional shows. The band will return to stadiums across North America and Europe in 2026.

While the initial run was billed as the Long Live The Black Parade Tour, the new stretch of shows are considered The Black Parade 2026. The North American leg of the tour picks up on Aug. 9 at Citi Field in New York. My Chemical Romance will make stops in Nashville, Washington D.C., Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, San Diego, Phoenix, and San Antonio. The tour is scheduled to conclude with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in October 2026.

Support will be provided from Franz Ferdinand, Pierce The Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, and The Mars Volta on select dates.

General sale for the new shows, which also include a third night at London’s Wembley Stadium, begins at 12 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 26.

My Chemical Romance performed their last scheduled show of the year this past weekend in Atlanta. The Long Live The Black Parade Tour began in July and spanned 12 dates. “There was headbanging, screamo singing, and high-voltage energy that reached every corner of the stadium before My Chemical Romance exploded into fan favorite ‘Helena,’” Rolling Stone wrote in a review of the band’s hometown show. “For the final chorus of the track, Gerard belted the notes along with the entire sold-out crowd while he was down on his knees. ‘I felt that one in my bones,’ he said.”
