Lola Young, Fuerza Regida, and BigXthaplug will take the stage at Rolling Stone‘s fourth annual Future of Music showcase at SXSW 2026 next spring.
Taking place once again at Austin’s ACL Live at the Moody Theater from March 12-14, the three-night showcase will feature a curated selection of artists representing the most exciting new sounds in pop, hip-hop, country, música mexicana, and more.
Lola Young, the U.K. pop singer who became a star with hits like “Messy,” will headline the first night of the showcase on Thursday, March 12. Fuerza Regida, the arena-rocking Mexican American group from San Bernardino, California, will headline night two on Friday, March 13 — and they’ll be joined by some of the coolest acts from Street Mob Records, the label founded by Fuerza frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz. Home-state hero BigXthaplug, whose hits include “Texas,” will headline the showcase’s final night on Saturday, March 14. Additional performers for all three nights will be announced in the coming weeks.
This annual showcase is tied to Rolling Stone‘s annual Future of Music issue, our look at what’s new and what’s next in all realms of music. That issue will be on newsstands in April, with stories rolling out in mid-March. Past Future of Music headliners have included Benson Boone, Peso Pluma, Rema, Young Miko, Megan Moroney, Ivan Cornejo, and more.
