Little Simz to Tour North America This Fall

Little Simz has announced her first American headline tour in two years, supporting her sixth album, Lotus, released earlier this month. The run will also start with a show in Toronto on Oct. 26 before hitting cities like Philadelphia, New York, Oakland, and Atlanta. The Lotus tour will conclude in Los Angeles on Nov. 18.

Ticket presales will begin at 10 a.m. local time on June 24, followed by a Spotify presale starting June 26 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will be available ahead of the general sale from LittleSimz.com beginning June 27 at 10 a.m. local time as well.

Simz’s last trek across the US was 2023’s 10-date No Thank You tour supporting the album of the same name released the year prior. In 2022, Simz announced that she had to cancel a U.S. tour planned for that year due to financial constraints. “Being an independent artist, I pay for everything encompassing my live performances out of my own pocket and touring the US for a month would leave me in a huge deficit,” she said at the time. “As much as this pains me to not see you at this time, I’m just not able to put myself through that mental stress.”

Lotus, which earned a four-star review from Rolling Stone, finds Simz coping with other stressors, including a separation from her longtime friend and business partner, the producer Inflo, after suing him for an allegedly unpaid loan. “The public nature of her fallout with Inflo and how readily she tackles it on Lotus makes it a distinctly personal entry to her oeuvre – listening feels more like living in her skin than any project she’s done before,” the review noted.
