Linkin Park share explosive live video of ‘The Emptiness Machine’ from huge Wembley show

Linkin Park have shared official footage from their mammoth show at London’s Wembley Stadium. Check it out below.

The concert took place on June 28, as part of the band’s huge run of comeback shows with Emily Armstrong as frontwoman.

Gigs took place after they announced their return in 2024 and confirmed new album, ‘From Zero’ – their first since the death of frontman Chester Bennington.

Now, Mike Shinoda and co. have shared official footage from the sold-out show, which shows them playing ‘The Emptiness Machine’, the opening track from their latest album. In the footage, the band are seen delivering a powerhouse rendition of the hit song, and as the 90,000-strong crowd in front of them belt out the lyrics with them.

Tune in here:

The song was shared as a single ahead of the ‘From Zero’ album being released, along with ‘Heavy Is The Crown’, ‘Over Each Other’ and ‘Casualty’, and the packed show in London followed on from a number of stadium shows Linkin Park played across North America.

They followed the UK date up with stops in in Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Hannover, Arnhem and more, and were joined by special guests including Queens of the Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS for the shows.

As well as Armstrong joining the line-up, drummer Colin Brittain has also joined the band, following the departure of founding member Rob Bourdon. Founding guitarist Brad Delson is also absent from the group’s comeback tour, but is still working with them on new music.

The tour has seen them play the kick-off show for the UEFA Champions League final in Munich too, and continues with more US and South American shows throughout this year.

When they announced their comeback, Shinoda opened up about the “culture” of the new Linkin Park line-up, saying it feels like the “best we’ve had”.

There was also controversy around Armstrong joining the line-up, as it emerged that she seemingly had ties to Scientology and convicted rapist Danny Masterson. Armstrong later issued a statement “to clear the air”.

While some fans were divided over the comeback following Bennington’s death, as the band started the live shows, Shinoda explained that this version of Linkin Park was “not about erasing the past”.

He then explained why Linkin Park chose to keep their band name for the relaunched line-up, and added that he is “not sure” if they will make new recordings of older songs that feature the late frontman.

More recently, the band revealed the one song they will no longer play live following Chester Bennington’s death, and shared their latest singles, ‘Up From The Bottom’ and ‘Unshatter’.
