On Monday (September 15), it was confirmed that the Scottish singer-songwriter would be topping the bill at the London concert series on Saturday July 11. The massive outdoor gig will form part of his UK and Ireland headline tour next summer.
Capaldi will also headline Leeds’ new Roundhay Festival, which is being launched by the team behind BST Hyde Park.
Tickets for Capaldi’s BST show went on general sale this morning (September 19), and have since sold out. Now, an extra date in the capital has been added to his tour amid the “phenomenal demand”.
The singer will close the Great Oak Stage for a second consecutive night on Sunday July 12. Tickets are on sale now – you can buy yours here. Check out the announcement post below.

The full line-up of support acts and special guests for Capaldi’s concerts at BST Hyde Park 2026 is yet to be revealed. He is the second artist to have been announced for next year’s edition of the series, following Garth Brooks.
Capaldi has also released an emotional new single called ‘Something In The Heavens’, following on from this summer’s ‘Survive’. The latter track arrived on the same day the star made a redemptive return to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2025. He has since called this “the best day of my life” while recalling his “mental breakdown on stage” at the festival in 2023.
More new music from Capaldi is believed to be on the way soon. He is currently out on a UK and Ireland arena tour, and played two nights at London’s O2 this week. Capaldi is yet to announce the follow-up to his 2023 second album, ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’.
