Lea Michele to Take ‘Glee,’ ‘Funny Girl’ Hits on the Road for Spring Tour

The Glee star’s trek follows her sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall in October and playing Fanny Brice in the recent Broadway revival of Funny Girl

Lea Michele is going on tour.

The Glee star is making eight stops across the United States and Canada for a series of intimate concerts this spring. Promising to take attendees “on a musical journey through Michele’s extraordinary career,” Michele will perform fan-favorite hits from her Glee days, a range of Broadway tunes — including from Funny Girl — and songs selected from her own discography.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m. local time, but fans subscribed to Michele’s newsletter will have a chance to scoop early presale tickets on Wednesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. local time.

“After spending the past few months at home with my family and celebrating the joy of becoming a mother of two, I’m so excited to get back on the stage and perform live,” Michele said in a press announcement. “It will be an amazing night revisiting my time on Glee, singing songs from Funny Girl, and telling stories along the way.”

Michele’s tour follows the 38-year-old’s sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall in October and a year-long run in her dream role as Fanny Brice in the recent Broadway revival of Funny Girl, which earned rave reviews.
