Lambrini Girls have shared their new David Shrigley-designed limited edition cover for their debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out‘.

The Brighton punk duo have announced the new exclusive artwork following their placement on Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year list – which saw them take the 15th spot.

The new vinyl, which will be titled ‘Slutcore Version For Kids Who Can’t Read Good’ as a reference to the iconic Zoolander line, will only have 3000 copies available worldwide. 500 will be available to purchase in an exclusive colour only at Rough Trade stores.

Meanwhile, 500 CDs will also be made exclusive to Rough Trade featuring a bonus disc of their huge Electric Brixton show last April.

When ‘Who Let The Dogs Out‘ dropped, NME hailed it in a five-star review, writing: “With ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, Lambrini Girls prove punk is alive and kicking. They’re unapologetically amplifying chaos, calling out societal wrongs, and daring us all to feel something. This record is loud, raw, and impossible to ignore.”

Meanwhile, we spoke to them for The Cover in December 2024, where the duo told us about the importance of humour in their music.

“Humour is such a good way to disarm people,” vocalist Phoebe Lunny told us, with bassist Lilly Maciera adding: “It’s like wrapping a pill in a slice of ham and feeding it to a dog. That’s what we try and do with humour and politics to make it digestible. Buy them dinner first – and then fuck ’em.”

Elsewhere, Lambrini Girls’ Selin (Lilly) Macieira-Boşgelmez will “take a step back from live shows” to “seek medical help” on the severe impact of touring with disabilities.
