Lainey Wilson Drops Animated Video for ‘Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!’ With Bing Crosby: ‘Step Into My Snowy Little Daydream’

Lainey Wilson is getting into a bit of (animated) holiday spirit, with the release of a new video for her new Christmas duet “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!,” featuring Bing Crosby.

The song pairs Wilson’s vocal with those of the late crooner, making for an elegant, twang-tinged take on the wintry track.

The charming, humorous TK McKamy-directed video opens with Wilson holding a snow globe, before the video transitions to show an animated Wilson putting a mug of cocoa into a microwave. Just then, the power goes out, forcing Wilson out into the snowy night to try to solve the situation. As she checks the breaker, she gets zapped. Instead, she chops some wood and brings it into the house to start a fire, with the intention of warming her drink over the warm flames. But several attempts are interrupted by visitors, including an animated Crosby. After spilling her drink, Wilson finally ditches the idea of warming it up, grabs a carton of milk and a bottle of Hershey’s syrup from the refrigerator and pours both into her mouth.

Wilson shared a snippet of the video (made in partnership with Hershey’s) on her Instagram, writing, “Step into my snowy little daydream!”

“Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” was first released in 1945 by Vaughn Monroe; other popular recordings of the song include Dean Martin’s 1959 rendition, as well as a version recorded by Frank Sinatra and the B. Swanson Quartet. Other country music artists who have recorded the song include Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, George Strait and Jon Pardi.

Though 2025 is drawing to a close, Wilson is capping it off with several more career milestones. She topped this year’s winners at the CMA Awards, earning not only her second CMA entertainer of the year trophy, but also taking home wins for album of the year (Whirlwind) and female vocalist of the year. She’s also currently atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, earning her fifth leader on that chart with “Somewhere Over Laredo.”
