Lady Gaga announces first Mexico City stadium show in thirteen years

Lady Gaga has announced that she will be performing in Mexico City, marking her first show in the country in 13 years.

The pop icon will be taking over the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on April 26. The massive show will be produced by Live Nation and OCESA – which is the leading live entertainment company in Mexico and one of the largest worldwide – and it will be in support of her forthcoming seventh album ‘Mayhem‘.

The show marks Gaga’s first headline show in Mexico City since her 2012 show at the same stadium as part of her Born This Way Ball tour. Gaga took to her official Instagram account to share the show poster with a caption that read: “¡Viva La MAYHEM! We’re coming back.”

A ticket pre-sale will be available on Thursday (March 6) at 2pm local time for all Banamex cardholders. General ticket sales will commence on Friday (March 7) at 2pm local time. Visit here to purchase tickets.

The Mexico City show announcement comes after the ‘Paparazzi’ hitmaker announced that she would be performing a monumental free show to over a million fans at Copacabana Beach in Rio.

Gaga’s highly anticipated seventh album ‘Mayhem’ is set for release on March 7 and is available for pre-order here. It follows on from 2020’s ‘Chromatica’ and her ‘Harlequin’ companion record (2024).
