Kelly Osbourne says she “doesn’t agree” with her mother, Sharon Osbourne’s endorsement of Tommy Robinson.
In April, the TV personality and widow of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne seemed to confirm that she would take part in the so-called ‘Unite The Kingdom’ rally in London’s Trafalgar Square in May, replying to a Robinson post by writing: “See you at the march”.
Her comment prompted UK homelessness charity Centrepoint to sever ties with Sharon, having worked with her in the past.
Now, Kelly has distanced herself from her mother’s political views, telling Attitude, when asked about Sharon’s support for Robinson: “I don’t agree with my mum. That’s one thing that I can say I don’t agree with her on.”
Kelly then admitted that the matter is complex, adding, “It’s hard because I love my mum, but I also have to understand that she’s entitled to her own opinions as well. And it’s really hard when it comes to politics and things like that, but I… that’s not for me.”
Sharon has also made comments against allowing under-18s to undergo gender transitions, saying on The Sage Steele Show in 2024: “It’s like saying oh you’re feeling Japanese today, so you’re Japanese […] it’s insanity!”
Speaking on her mother’s viewpoints on transgender people, Kelly admitted that it was “sad” to realise their opinions differed so drastically. “I think that it… I don’t know if my mum knows enough trans people to make a fair judgement or anything to do with that sort of thing.”
“Whereas for me that is my world. And to be born in a body that doesn’t belong to you, I couldn’t imagine anything worse,” she continued.

Kelly recently spoke out about her mental health and extreme weight loss after the death of her father, and also claimed that one of his friends introduced her to cocaine.
In other news, in June Sharon responded to those calling an upcoming AI avatar of Ozzy Osbourne a “cash grab” – telling them that she “doesn’t need your fucking money”.
News of an AI avatar of the Prince Of Darkness was confirmed by his widow and former manager Sharon last month, as well as by their son Jack, during a discussion about the future of Ozzy’s brand at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
Jack has also responded to the backlash by claiming that his father “would be into this”. He shared: “It’s gonna be so tasteful what we’re doing. It’s not gonna be fucking lame.”
Jack also confirmed earlier this year that a biopic about his parents Ozzy and Sharon was “absolutely” happening, and slated for a 2028 release. He’d previously revealed that a “phenomenal” lead actor was attached to the film.
Elsewhere, the venue for Ozzfest 2027 has been officially announced.
