KCON Japan 2025 line-up: ZEROBASEONE, Taemin, Kep1er and more

KCON Japan 2025 has announced the first artist line-up for its upcoming event in May, featuring ZEROBASEONE, SHINee’s Taemin, Kep1er and more.

On February 21, KCON announced eight of the artists that will be performing at the Makuhari Messe for its upcoming Japan event, set to take place from May 9 to 11, 2025 in Chiba, Japan.

It included Japanese boyband JO1 and K-pop boybands BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE and CRAVITY. Girl groups announced as part of the line-up include Kep1er, alongside Japanese girl group ME:1. Also performing at KCON Japan are singers Jo Yu-ri and SHINee’s Taemin. More artists are expected to be announced for this year’s KCON Japan.

The festival dropped the second batch of performing artists on February 25, with TWS, EVNNE, izna and IS:SUE joining this year’s festivities. Korean band QWER as well as Japanese boyband INI were also announced as performers for KCON Japan 2025.

KCON Japan will be the first KCON event of 2025, followed by KCON LA. The popular event first announced its return to both cities this year just last month, with further expansions into other cities and regions. Notably, the K-pop festival held shows in Europe and Hong Kong last year. KCON also landed in Thailand and Saudi Arabia in previous years.

KCON 2024 marked new heights for CJ ENM, after KCON Japan welcomed a record-breaking crowd of 140,000 while KCON LA saw over 5.4million fans across both its physical venues and online platforms. It also became the first-ever national primetime broadcast of a K-pop show in American television history via CW Network, per Billboard.
