Amber Rose has weighed in on her ex Kanye West‘s recent Grammy Awards red carpet appearance with his wife, Bianca Censori.
At the 2025 Grammys, Ye and Censori walked the red carpet before leaving and missing the ceremony. The latter originally wore a huge fur coat before dropping it in front of the cameras, revealing an extremely sheer dress – sparking controversy about the ‘College Dropout’ star’s influence over Censori.
During an appearance on sports personality Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, Rose – a former girlfriend of West – chimed in on the conversation, saying Ye was “for sure planting her like that”.
“He did the same thing to me and Kim. This is who he is,” she explained, bringing up Ye’s previous marriage with socialite-turned-businesswoman Kim Kardashian. “He wants other men to want to fuck his woman. That’s what he’s into. He likes that. He likes that men are drooling over his woman.”
She continued: “He wants all his friends to want to fuck his girlfriend. He wants everybody [to think] that when you walk in a room, that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable in the room.”
Rose originally dated West from 2008 to 2010 after meeting on the set of the music video shoot for Ludacris‘ ‘What Them Girls Like’. They later broke up while Ye was recording his critically-acclaimed fifth album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. The Philly native subsequently accused Kardashian of being a “homewrecker” for allegedly having an affair with West while she was dating NFL player Reggie Bush.
Years later, Ye and Rose engaged in an infamous back-and-forth online. The Chicagoan first ridiculed both Rose and her then-husband Wiz Khalifa – prompting the model and video vixen to respond (via EW): “Awww [Kanye West] are u mad I’m not around to play in ur asshole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch.”
Rose later retracted the claim in a 2024 interview with Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee, admitting she made that up, per HipHopDX: “It wasn’t meant to be a factual statement. But he said he owns my child! He said if it wasn’t for him, Wiz would have never met me and had a child so then in turn he owns my child.”
West defended his spectacle on the Grammys red carpet in what became the start of his latest rant of inflammatory tweets online. He claimed: “I have dominion over my wife. This ain’t no woke as feminist shit. She’s with a billionaire, why would she listen to any of you dumb ass broke bitches?”
Many reports have speculated on the current state of Ye and Censori’s marriage since the see-through dress fiasco. Shortly after, a X/Twitter account surfaced online that appeared to be owned by Censori, calling for God to help her husband amid him sharing misogynistic and anti-semitic comments last month. However, a rep came out on behalf of Censori and said the account was fake.
Also, rumours that Censori had filed for divorce from began to circulate online – which was swiftly denied by a representative on behalf of Ye and Censori.
West’s social media posts are still under fire, even after a temporary ban on his X/Twitter account. He sold T-shirts with Nazi swastikas on them via his clothing brand Yeezy’s website – although he claimed he is “no longer a Nazi” – and plans to create more swastika apparel. Ye is also looking to get a chain with a swastika pendant made for him.
The rap mogul has since been sued for discrimination after allegedly sending a text that read “Hail Hitler” to a Jewish Yeezy employee. West hasn’t commented on this case at the time of writing.
However, he has responded to a sexual abuse lawsuit filed by a former assistant, claiming she is attempting to “extort” him.
