The girl group’s new five-song EP, Wild, is out now
Katseye shared a music video for their new song, “Hootie Frutti.” The track comes off the group’s EP, Wild, which is out today.
The video, directed by Alfred Marroquin, showcases underground Brazilian party led by Katseye. It features a raucous Latin beat alongside equally raucous dance choreography, with the singers clad in vibrant, colorful ensembles. Water eventually rains from the ceiling, dousing the still-dancing group members.
Katseye’s EP features five tracks, including “Animal,” which they performed earlier this week on The Tonight Show. The release marks the group’s first recording without Manon Bannerman, who remains on hiatus from the group. Band member Sophia Laforteza also recently announced she is taking a hiatus for her mental health.
Following the release of Wild and the theatrical release of their movie Katseye: Wild Hearts in August, Katseye will embark on the Wildworld Tour. The Wildworld Tour will kick things off in Dublin, Ireland on Sept. 1 and conclude in Mexico City on Nov. 27. Major tour stops include a show at the O2 in London and the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Eyekons can also catch them in Miami, Paris, Chicago, Boston, and Montreal.

The group teased the sold-out tour to The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. “I feel like it will hit me once I get there because it’s our first arena tour,” Yoonchae Jeung said. “It’s a much bigger stage. I’m a little bit nervous. And it’s very exciting.”
Since debuting in 2024, the Katseye train hasn’t slowed down. The girl group’s second EP, Beautiful Chaos, was released last June and included viral tracks “Gnarly” and “Gabriela.” At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Katseye was nominated in two categories including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Gabriela“).
