KATSEYE announce ‘Valorant’ collab

Girl group KATSEYE have announced details of a collaboration with hit video game Valorant.

Valorant is an online multiplayer hero shooter that launched back in 2020. For the upcoming 2025 Game Changers Championship, Riot Games has teamed up with pop titans KATSEYE.

Since Game Changers launched in 2021, the program has created new opportunities and exposure for women within Valorant esports. The 2025 final kicks off November 28, with 10 teams from across the world competing at Riot’s very own LoL Park in Seoul.

As well as a cinematic “hype” film, the girl group have also created a special Valorant remix of their 2025 hit ‘M.I.A.’. Check it out below:

“When Riot asked us to reimagine ‘M.I.A’ for Game Changers, as a gamer I was like ‘YES!’, KATSEYE’s Megan said in a statement. “That song has always been about confidence and showing up as your best self, and that message aligns so much with what Game Changers stands for. We wanted this version to celebrate every player who’s out there pushing limits and owning their power.”

In an interview with Billboard, Megan added: “We all stand behind [the idea] that anyone can play any game and there shouldn’t be any weirdness. We really, really do think this aligns so much with KATSEYE and our brand. We’re so, so excited to do this collab.”

“Working with KATSEYE to give ‘M.I.A’ a Game Changers twist has been an incredible experience. Their energy and artistry perfectly match the spirit of Valorant, and Megan’s connection as a player made the collaboration feel that much more authentic,” added Jonny Altepeter, lead music supervisor at Riot Games. “It’s inspiring to see artists who genuinely connect with our game come together to celebrate Game Changers, a program that continues to empower and elevate our community.”

Earlier this year, Riot teamed up with Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante for new League Of Legends’ brawler 2XKO.

In other news, Animal Crossing-inspired cosy game Pokémon Pokopia has been confirmed to launch in 2026.
