Kacey Musgraves Surprise Drops 2 New Bonus Tracks for ‘Middle of Nowhere’

Wish Kacey Musgraves‘ new album Middle of Nowhere was a bit longer? You’re in luck, because the musician has got you covered.

The eight-time Grammy-winning country star released her seventh studio album, Middle of Nowhere, on May 1. On streaming services and physical copies, Middle of Nowhere sports a 13-song tracklist. However, for fans willing to pay a little extra for two bonus tracks, Musgraves surprise released two additional songs on Tuesday (May 5).

“The song that manifested Mexico Honey + my version of All My Exes,” the star captioned her Instagram post announcing the new songs. The tunes, “All My Exes (Kacey’s Version)” and “Caballero,” are exclusively available with the purchase of the digital album through her website and iTunes.

Middle of Nowhere is Musgraves’ follow-up to her 2024 Billboard 200 No. 2 album Deeper Well. The new album explores post-breakup solitude and the range of emotions that accompanies it. The LP sports collaborations with Willy Nelson, Gregory Alan Isakov and Billy Strings. Fellow native Texan and country star Miranda Lambert also makes an appearance on Musgraves’ new album, marking the official end of a yearslong feud between the two singers.

The two new bonus tracks aren’t the only surprise Musgraves has pulled off recently. Just weeks before dropping Middle of Nowhere, Musgraves made her first appearance at Coachella in seven years after being added to weekend two’s Saturday lineup the Tuesday prior. The Coachella performance was just one of many shows that Musgraves will be putting on in 2026. To support the new album, the singer will embark on her Middle of Nowhere Tour later this year. The trek launches on Aug. 21 in Chicago and will conclude on Oct. 27 in Seattle.
