Justin Bieber Finds Peace in Iceland for ‘First Place’ Video

New black-and-white video is second visual from July album Swag

One week after dropping the video for “Yukon,” Justin Bieber is back with another black-and-white, nature-centered visual from his album, Swag. The latest is for track “First Place.”

For the Rory Kramer-directed video, Bieber is in Northern Iceland, where he recorded much of his latest album. He’s seen specifically at Flóki Studios, a scenic and remote studio located on the Trollaskagi Peninsula, also known as the Troll Peninsula. Kramer had documented much of Bieber’s time at the studio, and Bieber seems to find solace in the idyllic area. He’s seen galavanting around in the water, taking a dip in a hot tub, and even snowboarding. Some of his recording experience is also highlighted with studio footage.

Last week, Bieber dropped the family-centered video for “Yukon.” Wife Hailey Bieber and their son Jack Blues take center stage in the video, as the trio are seen on a family vacation.

Bieber surprise-released his seventh album on July 11. He began rolling out the LP just hours before, with billboards and a flurry of social media posts. His first new project in four years is also his first without being managed by Scooter Braun, who also served as executive producer on his previous six albums. Swag features guest appearances from Druski, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Eddie Benjamin, Marvin Winans, Dijon, Cash Cobain, and Lil B. Mk.gee and Daniel Caesar also contributed production to some songs on the album.
