Juice WRLD’s ‘AGATS2 (Insecure)’ Is Here With Nicki Minaj

The sequel to one of Juice WRLD’s most beloved songs comes ahead of an upcoming posthumous album.

Juice WRLD’s estate officially dropped “AGATS2 (Insecure)” a follow-up to one of the beloved MC’s classic songs, 2018’s “All Girls Are The Same.” The song features Nicki Minaj who was added to the track posthumously. The Queens rapper aims to keep the Chicago artist’s legacy alive with a sequel to his eight-times platinum debut song.

Juice WRLD starts his first verse rhyming, “I admit it another hoe got me finished/Trying to serve heartbreak up like tennis,” setting the tone for his narrative of unrequited love over the sweeping production. Nicki follows up with a short verse of her own, rhyming, “She want good brain gotta be the muscle too/He want the smart girl gotta be a hustler too.”

A version of the song had previously leaked online, and was considered for Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded album. During an August livestream with fans, Nicki said, “So, the question is do you guys think I should put the Juice World song on the deluxe? It would be incredible for me I think to have Juice WRLD on this album.”

Juice WRLD was one-half of the 2019 Nicki Wrld Tour with Nicki Minaj. And earlier this year his posthumous verse was placed on Young Thug’s “Money,” which also featured Nicki. The late artist, who died of an overdose in December 2019, has a cavernous music vault, with his team estimating around 3,000 unreleased tracks. In October they dropped The Pre-Party, a four-song EP in preparation of his upcoming The Party Never Ends album.
