Jonas Brothers Surprise Dallas Show With Kelsea Ballerini Duets

Kelsea Ballerini is almost like an honorary Jonas sister. Just a handful of years after opening for the group on their 2021 tour, the country star joined Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas for a pair of performances during the group’s show in Dallas on Sunday.

“We had the wonderful pleasure of bringing her on tour, and throughout the years, we’ve had the fortune of doing several performances. But tonight, she’s gracious enough to come out and be here for this incredible Dallas crowd,” Nick Jonas said while introducing her. “Please welcome to the stage our friend, your friend, Kelsea Ballerini.”

First, the JoBros and Ballerini performed her biggest hit, “Peter Pan.” Then they delivered a duet rendition of the JoBros’ “Fly With Me” from their 2009 album Lines, Vines, and Trying Times.

Ballerini previously joined the JoBros as an opener for their 2021 Remember This Tour across North America.

Ballerini’s appearance was far from the only surprise during the group’s Labor Day weekend show. Earlier in the night, they welcomed Ryan Cabrerea for “On the Way Down,” and performed fan requests “One Day at a Time” for the first time since 2006 and “Love Is on its Way” for the first time since 2013. They also debuted their song “Backwards” from their newest album.

Later in the show, the group brought out Plain White T’s for “Hey There Delilah,” and Kevin Jonas took the stage to debut a solo song he wrote called “Changing.” Before the conclusion of the show, the JoBros also made way for Fifth Harmony to take the stage for their first live performance as a group since 2018.
