The project commemorates one year since the release of her third studio album, Paid in Memories
Surprise! Jessie Reyez has released new EP $till Paid. The new project commemorates the one-year anniversary of the Canadian-Colombian singer’s third studio album Paid in Memories.
$till Paid hit streaming services at midnight on Friday, March 27, and just a few hours later Reyez posted the album cover on her Instagram and TikTok story. For the EP’s cover, the singer-songwriter stays true to the black-and-yellow motif she used for Paid in Memories, as well as the nostalgic theme. On the LP, Reyez used her high school portrait but this time she went further back in time and employed a picture of her younger self as a child.
The five-track EP features U.K. rapper Stormzy on a remix of “Palo $anto,” which was originally released on Reyez’s 2025 LP. On title track “$till Paid,” the singer-songwriter flexes her own rap skills with a freestyle verse that finds her focused on getting more gains. “They come around beggin for a lil bit/I pay no mind/I got no time/I got goals bae/I’m a goldmine,” she raps before ending the song with her signature throaty trill.
