Jasiel Nuñez, an emerging música mexicana artist, is back with the release of two new singles: “Bobo Me Tienes” and “Suave.” Both songs paint a picture of different perspectives in a love story, through completely different rhythms and beats: one being more mellow and personal, while the other invites listeners to get up and dance.
“Bobo Me Tienes” maintains a romantic essence with a piano instrumental and a deeper tone in Nuñez’ voice. The track sustains a more identifiable sound in the spectrum of música mexicana. In “Suave,” the artist showcases his versatility and ability to convey a similar message with sounds that embrace a more lively, upbeat energy built around electronic-influenced instrumentals and production.
Meanwhile, artists such as Baby Rasta y Gringo, Brray and Saúl el Jaguar y El Bebeto also dropped new music this week.
The most recent New Music Latin poll was topped by Luis Figueroa’s El Relevo album with more than 82% of the vote. Which release this week do you think is best? Give these new releases a spin and vote for your favorite new Latin music release below.
Editor’s Note: The results of the weekly New Music Latin poll will be posted if the poll generates more than 1,000 votes. This poll closes at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, June 8.
