Jamiroquai joins Dua Lipa on stage on first night at Wembley Stadium – see the full setlist

Dua Lipa was joined by Jamiroquai on stage at Wembley Stadium – check out footage of the moment and the full setlist below.

Last night (June 20), the pop star played the first of two concerts in the capital as part of her ‘Radical Optimism’ world tour. The two-night stint at Wembley makes her the second British woman, after Adele, to headline the venue.

To mark the occasion, Lipa launched a pop-up store and performed a slew of fan favourites on the first night in London, including ‘New Rules’, ‘Houdini’, ‘Be The One’ and ‘Dance The Night’. Addressing the 70,000-strong crowd, she said it felt “surreal” to be performing for so many fans.

“It means the absolute world to me that you are here tonight,” she said. “It feels really, really special to be here tonight. It is 10 years since our first ever London show to about 350 people, and I just dreamt of a night like this where I get to be in front of 70,000 people.”

Lipa later went on to introduce an artist she said really “inspired” her throughout her career, and “someone who has really been a trailblazer for British music and has really paved the way.”

“I feel so lucky to share the stage with the one and only Jamiroquai”, she said, with frontman Kay Jay emerging on stage before the two launched into their 1996 hit ‘Virtual Insanity’.

Dua Lipa at Wembley Stadium played:

‘Training Season’
‘End of an Era’
‘Break My Heart’
‘One Kiss’
‘Whatcha Doing’
‘Levitating’
‘These Walls’
‘Hotter Than Hell’
‘Virtual Insanity’ (cover with Jamiroquai)
‘Maria’
‘Physical’
‘Electricity’
‘Hallucinate’
‘Illusion’
‘Falling Forever’
‘Happy for You’
‘Love Again’
‘Anything for Love’
‘Be the One’

Encore:
‘New Rules’
Dance the Night’
‘Don’t Start Now’
‘Houdini’

Lipa’s two Wembley shows will be followed by massive stadium dates in Liverpool and Dublin, before she embarks on a North American leg later in the year. Find any remaining tickets here (UK/Ireland), here (Europe), and here (North America).

Last month, she kicked off the European portion of her ongoing ‘Radical Optimism’ tour in Madrid, Spain (where she covered Enrique Iglesias’ ‘Hero’), after completing a run of dates in Australia and New Zealand.

The pop star announced the two London gigs shortly after making her debut headline appearance at Glastonbury Festival last summer. She later played a one-off orchestral show at the historic Royal Albert Hall in the capital.

In other news, Lipa has confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner after months of fan speculation.

Fans also took note of lines in Miley Cyrus’ latest track ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’, in which the ‘The Climb’ singer describes a woman who: “Speaks the perfect French/ She can dance the night away/ And still, she’ll never break a sweat”, with many convinced the track is a dig at Dua Lipa.
