Jamie xx announces first ever B2B set with Nia Archives as more names join LIDO Festival 2025

More names have been added to the 2025 edition of LIDO festival, and it has been confirmed that Jamie xx will be holding his first ever B2B set with Nia Archives at the event.

The event is set to head to Victoria Park in London next month, and it was confirmed back in November that the 2025 edition of the festival will see The xx star, musician and producer appear as a headliner. He will be curating his own day on June 7, and artists confirmed at the time included his xx bandmate Romy, as well as Panda Bear, John Glacier, Arca, Sampha, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie, and livwutang.

He was also announced as bringing his celebrated club residency ‘The Floor’ to Victoria Park, holding a one-off festival showcase with a three-hour set from DJ Harvey.

Now, more artists have been confirmed for the upcoming event, including a special B2B DJ set between Jamie xx and Nia Archives. The event will mark the first B2B from the 24-year-old producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, visual artist, and pioneer of jungle’s new wave, and is exclusive to LIDO.

Also joining the bill are pioneer of jungle and drum & bass Shy FX – who will be performing B2B with fellow jungle icon and producer Tim Reaper – as well as an integral part of the UK garage scene Todd Edwards, UK garage, rap and rave artist Bullet Tooth, and Villager who is a breakthrough DJ act from Alex Young who has already supported the likes of Sammy Virji and Barry Can’t Swim.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Jamie xx said: “It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my hometown. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists.”

The announcement that Jamie xx would be headlining LIDO comes as he dropped his album ‘In Waves’ last September, marking his first solo full-length since 2015’s ‘In Colour’.

In a four-star review of ‘In Waves’, NME called the LP “an even more melancholic record than its predecessor – and a less immediately exciting one, too.”

As for LIDO, news of the new festival was shared in October, and it was confirmed that it will be run by AEG Presents, who also organise All Points East, BST Hyde Park and Forwards. It also said it is looking to “showcase the most current headliners and work closely with them to curate the line-ups, reflecting their own musical passions, with a strong focus on emerging artists.”

Others headlining the 2025 event include Charli XCX – who will be curating her Party Girl line-up and lining up performances from The Japanese House, The Dare, 070 Shake, Kelly Lee Owens and A. G. Cook – as well as London Grammar and Massive Attack.

Additionally, LIDO is due to host the new London leg of Outbreak Festival – which will be headlined by Turnstile. Visit here for remaining tickets.
