The city’s Don Valley Bowl is playing host to the series of major shows, which include two previously-announced nights that will see Queens Of The Stone Age at the top of a stacked bill.

James’ date goes down on August 31, with a supporting line-up that includes fellow ‘90s indie acts Ocean Colour Scene, Embrace, Cast and Sleeper.

The Lilacs, Sonni Mills and Girlband! round out the currently-announced list of acts. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (March 7) and you will be able to get yours here.

QOTSA’s two nights of the event are on August 27 and 28, while Reverend And The Makers are headlining a night on August 30, with Groove Armada, Peter Doherty & Carl Barat and Lottery Winners also on the bill.

In addition, Rock N Roll Circus is holding three events in Norwich’s Earlham Park, with McFly and Sam Ryder playing on August 14, Courteeners and The Lathums on the bill on August 15 and Olly Murs and Blue performing on August 16.

For James, the event joins their huge summer tour of the UK this year, which kicks off at Cheltenham’s Wychwood Festival on May 31 and runs through to a show at Colchester Castle on August 22. See the full list of dates here and find any remaining tickets here.

The Manchester band have also been announced for this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival in June, alongside headliners Justin Timberlake, Sting and Stereophonics, and the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington in May, also alongside Stereophonics.

James’ latest album was ‘Yummy’ in 2024, their 18th studio record in total. It was released in April and included the singles ‘Is This Love’, ‘Our World’ and ‘Life’s A Fucking Miracle’.
