James Bay announces intimate London gig for BRITs Week 2025

James Bay has announced an intimate London show as part of BRITs Week 2025. Find all the details below.

The singer-songwriter is due to perform at the iconic, 350-capacity 100 Club on Oxford Street on Wednesday March 5.

Bay, whose fourth album ‘Changes All The Time’ arrived last October, joins the likes of Kasabian, Soft Play, Nova Twins and Joy Crookes on the line-up for this year’s BRITs Week.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT this Friday (February 21) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, you can sign up for pre-sale access here.

In addition to his small live gig, the singer-songwriter is giving fans the opportunity to attend his soundcheck via the BRITs Week prize draw.

Tickets for all shows are available as part of a special prize draw, following a limited general sale. For the chance to win a pair of tickets, fans need to make a £5 donation towards War Child, with the prize draw going live as soon as each gig sells out.

You can buy any remaining tickets here, and enter the prize draws here.

War Child Live Music Lead Clare Sanders-Wright explained: “The shows for BRITs Week are always so special, giving fans a chance to see their favourite musicians in beloved small venues.

“Children don’t start wars, and this past year has been devastating, with children bearing the unimaginable cost of conflicts they hold no responsibility for.”

Bay won the BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2016.

BRITs Week launched in 2009, and has since raised more than £7.4million for War Child. In a statement, the charity said: “Right now, it’s the deadliest time to be a child. It is estimated that one in five children are currently living in, or fleeing from conflict.

“But there is hope. With your support, War Child can help children put the pieces back together. By experiencing the thrill and excitement of the intimate, one-off performances, you will be directly contributing to helping these children rebuild their lives.”

The intimate gig series is scheduled to take place around the BRIT Awards 2025, which will be held at The O2 in London on Saturday March 1. See the full list of nominations here.

In other news, Sam Fender and Lola Young have been announced as the final performers for the BRITs 2025. They appear on the line-up along with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, The Last Dinner Party and JADE.

This year’s ceremony will see comedian and actor Jack Whitehall return as host for the fifth time.

James Bay’s latest album featured a collaboration with The Killers’ Brandon Flowers on the song ‘Easy Distraction’.

He later recalled the experience of working with his “hero”, explaining: “It was kind of terrifying – but that’s how it is supposed to be.” Speaking to NME in 2020, Bay explained: “[Flowers] invited me into the studio and we wrote and demoed a song.”

He added: “The insight I got from working with him was incredible, and to be in his presence watching him work and write music the way he does is something I’ll never forget. He is a consummate pro and deserves the legendary status he already has.”

Bay recently wrapped up a UK and Ireland headline tour, which concluded with a show at the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
