Ice Nine Kills announce biggest ever headline show at The O2 in London

Ice Nine Kills have announced their biggest headline show to date at London’s O2, taking place in 2027.

The new announcement comes following the Boston metal band performing an immense live set at the 2026 edition of Download Festival this past weekend.

At the Donington event, posters were spotted around the festival site advertising the upcoming show, which will be held at The O2 in London on March 28 2027. With a maximum capacity of around 20,000 people, this will be the biggest and most ambitious show of their career so far.

“London gave us our biggest headlining show in history thus far, and as everyone knows, there’s always a sequel,” frontman Spencer Charnas said, referring to their huge show at Wembley Arena just six months ago.

“Can’t wait to soak the prestigious O2 in stage blood, and scream along with our British Psychos next year.”

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday June 17) at 10am BST. Visit here for tickets and more information.

The last new music from the Metal heroes came earlier this year, when they dropped the standalone single ‘Twisting The Knife’ as part of the soundtrack for new slasher film Scream 7.

For the song, they joined forced with Mckenna Grace, and it went on to become the band’s most successful single launch with over 50million streams so far.

Before then, the metalcore stars provided a humorous response to allegations they had used generative AI to create a promotional image. “We are vigorously investigating the disturbing claims that a recent promotional image was sloppily birthed by AI,” they said on X/Twitter.

“We solemnly pledge to get to the bottom of this horrific headline-making crime against Redditors. For now, enjoy our new promo photo, taken just moments ago.”

The last full album from Ice Nine Kills was 2021’s ‘Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2’, which was the follow-up to their 2018 album ‘The Silver Scream.’ They are dropping another new song, ‘Play Dead’, later this month.
