Hugh Jackman has cancelled his massive London BST Hyde Park show, saying that he is “deeply disappointed” by the decision.
The Wolverine star’s UK-exclusive headline slot with a capacity of 65,000 people was set to take place on Sunday July 6. Titled ‘From London with Love’, the show would have seen him perform songs from various musicians such as The Boy From Oz, The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables, and The Music Man, alongside other surprises.
Today (February 3) the actor and singer shared a statement explaining why he will no longer be able to perform at the show later this summer. “Due to an unforeseen conflict in my schedule, I am deeply disappointed to announce I will be unable to perform in Hyde Park this July 6,” began his statement.

He continued: “This was a stage I truly was looking forward to being on, no less in a city that I love so much. Thank you to all people who’ve purchased tickets,” he said before adding that for ticket refunds, those who purchased can visit here for more information. He concluded his message with: “London, I’ll see you soon!”
Team BST also shared that “Ticketholders for Hugh Jackman will automatically be refunded in full for tickets purchased through official agents.”
Elsewhere, Jeff Lynne’s ELO will be performing a farewell show at Hyde Park this summer and will play the Great Oak Stage on Sunday July 13. US country star Zach Bryan has also been announced as a headliner and is set to take to the Great Oak Stage on June 28 and 29, the latter being an extra show added due to “phenomenal demand”.
Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan and Sabrina Carpenter will also be performing at Hyde Park this summer on June 27, July 4 and July 5 respectively.
In other Hugh Jackman news, Ryan Reynolds recently surprised Jackman at the opening night of his run of shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
