Earlier this week, the singer announced an intimate series of shows that will mark her first live performances in over a decade
Hilary Duff is celebrating her sold-out Small Rooms, Big Nerves Tour, a series of intimate shows set to take place in North America and England and kicking off Jan. 19 in London.
“The shows have sold out, and I am just completely overwhelmed by, one, the amount of emails that have been entered,” said the singer in an Instagram video posted Friday. “It’s just been the greatest week. Thank you for your love and your support and your extremely warm welcome with me getting back into music.” She added, “The show’s sold out, but there’s going to be so many more live opportunities and moments to come. So, be patient, and if you did get tickets to show, can’t freaking wait to see you there.”

The artist’s music career began as a teen star on the Disney Channel’s series Lizzie McGuire, which aired from 2001 to 2004. Her second studio album, 2003’s Metamorphosis, produced memorable hits “So Yesterday” and “Come Clean.” Duff released her last LP, Breathe In. Breathe Out, in 2015.
Just days after the release of her comeback single “Mature,” Duff announced plans for her run of shows last week — marking her first live performances in over a decade. “It’s happening,” Duff said in a statement at the time. “I’m over the moon to be stepping onstage again. I’ve got some new songs that I can’t wait to share with you and of course some old favorites we can scream together. It’s been a minute, and I’ve missed you. Let’s make some mems.”
