Here’s what Linkin Park played as they kicked off their 2025 ‘From Zero’ world tour

Linkin Park have kicked off their run of 2025 live shows, celebrating the release of ‘From Zero’. Check out the tracklist and footage from the first gig below.

The opening night of the 2025 world tour was held last weekend, as Mike Shinoda and co. took to the stage at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City.

It follows on from a number of shows last year, celebrating the band’s latest album – which is their first since the tragic passing of frontman Chester Bennington and sees former Dead Sara singer Emily Armstrong take on vocal duties.

At the gig in Mexico, the show was split into five separate acts, including the encore, and the setlist saw the members showcase tracks from across their discography – ranging from early fan favourites to some of their newest singles.

They began with the ‘Meteora’ track ‘Somewhere I Belong’, before going into ‘Hybrid Theory’s ‘Crawling’, ‘New Divide’ – which was written for the Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen soundtrack – and the new album’s lead single, ‘The Emptiness Machine’.

Act II included new songs ‘Over Each Other’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Two Faced’, as well as earlier tracks like ‘The Catalyst’, ‘Castle Of Glass’, ‘Empty Spaces’ and ‘One Step Closer’. Act III, on the other hand, contained notable inclusions of ‘From Zero’ track ‘All Good Things Go’, and ‘Lost’, the ‘Meteora’-era track that remained unreleased until the 2023 reissue. Both were played live for the first time during the show.

Act IV saw another live debut, this time coming in the form of the ‘From Zero’ track ‘Overflow’, as well as two of the band’s biggest hits: ‘Numb’ and ‘In The End’. The encore saw the band wrap up with back-to-back renditions of ‘Papercut’, ‘A Place For My Head’, ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ and ‘Bleed It Out’.

As well as Armstrong, the live shows with Linkin Park also feature guitarist Alex Feder – who is filling in for Brad Delson when it comes to touring duties – and Colin Brittain, who has joined the line-up following the departure of founding member Rob Bourdon.

Going forward, the remainder of the world tour will see Linkin Park make stops at cities including Austin, Berlin, Milan and Buenos Aires, as well as at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Special guests for the shows will be Queens Of The Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA and PVRIS. Visit here to buy UK tickets, and here for international tickets.

As for ‘From Zero’, the album shot to the top of the charts in 10 countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand. In the US, it came just shy of the milestone – debuting at Number Two and losing out due to K-pop group Ateez’s ‘Golden Hour: Part.2’.

It was also given a three-star review by NME, which described the record as having “an intriguing mix of sensational, knockout stadium rock and some perplexingly tired songwriting”.

“Crucially, ‘From Zero’ must be viewed as a reset, exemplified by its title which pays homage to the band’s former name: Xero,” it read. “Therefore, any inevitable comparisons to their largely masterful discography must bear in mind the place from which ‘From Zero’ was born: an organic desire from Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn and Shinoda to create together as Linkin Park once more.”

Since then, the band have shared an a capella version of the record and received a nod for International Group Of The Year at the 2025 BRIT Awards.
