Harry Styles ran the Tokyo Marathon and impressed fans with finish time

Harry Styles ran the Tokyo Marathon yesterday (March 2) and impressed fans with his finish time.

The former One Direction band member took part in the 26.2 mile race alongside 38,000 other runners and managed to cross the finish line in under three-and-a-half hours, which placed him above 20,000 others.

Styles finished at 3:24:07, according to the Toyko Marathon’s official website, which is faster than the average pace for men in the sport. The musician came in 6,010th place out of the 26,706 runners who completed the marathon.

Styles’ personal trainer Thibo David previously said that Styles was able to run a five-minute mile. “Collaborating with Harry Styles was an absolute delight. His commitment is unparalleled,” he told Coach magazine in January 2024.

Fans took to social media to share their reactions and congratulations to Styles’ marathon completion. “Watching Harry Styles run a marathon was nothing short of inspiring,” one user wrote. “The dedication, the endurance, the sheer willpower. I can’t wait to be glued to my phone and watch him run his next marathon.”

“Harry Styles continues to be superior to most men by beating the average male marathon time by nearly 45 minutes,” wrote another fan.

Some fans made jokes about running being a “side quest”, and asking where his next album is. “Not me getting on twitter and my entire feed is about how Harry Styles ran a 26 mile marathon… How does his man hit a random side quest like that? Also, where’s HS4, Harry? Inquiring minds would like to know,” one X user wrote.

In other Harry Styles-related news, Chloe Fineman revealed that Styles was “devastated” by her horrible impression of him on Saturday Night Live.

While appearing on the red carpet for Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary show this past weekend (February 16), Fineman stopped to chat with Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg and shared that the ‘As It Was’ hitmaker was “devastated” over her impression of him.

“My Harry Styles is really bad,” Fineman admitted. “I did it and he was at the table and was so devastated by how bad it was.” The ‘SNL’ cast member then went on to provide a stiff impression of Styles and said: “Anyway, I’m Harry Styles, anyway,” in a British accent.
