Haim Enlist Logan Lerman for ‘Down to Be Wrong’ Video

Track is the latest single off I Quit, the L.A. sister trio’s first new album in five years

One day after announcing their new album, I Quit — their first in five years — Haim have released a video for “Down to Be Wrong,” starring Logan Lerman.

The video opens with Danielle Haim in a hotel bed with the Perks of Being a Wallflower star, singing to him as he sleeps. Alana stands in front of the television, smoking, while Este flips through channels with the remote. The sisters rifle through his wallet, invisible to Lerman, who is sheepishly walking around the room, making phone calls.

Haim dropped “Down to Be Wrong” on Thursday, alongside the announcement of I Quit. It follows the singles “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out” — co-written with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon — and “Relationships.” At a recent headlining show at the Bellweather in Los Angeles, in which Addison Rae joined them onstage to deliver some dance moves, they debuted the new track “Down to Be Wrong.”

The rollout for I Quit has been wildly entertaining, with the band consistently paying tribute to early 2000s paparazzi photos. I Quit, out June 20 via Columbia Records, contains 15 tracks. It was produced by Danielle and Rostam Batmanglij, and follows 2020’s Women in Music Pt. III
