Gwen Stefani Is Unbreakable on Acoustic Single ‘Still Gonna Love You’

Gwen Stefani has shared a new song, “Still Gonna Love You,” alongside the deluxe edition of her most recent LP. The album, Bouquet Deluxe, features acoustic renditions of all of the songs on Bouquet, which dropped in November.

“Still Gonna Love You” was co-written by Finneas and sees Stefani sharing a message of resilience as she sings, “You can push me away, go ahead and make your mistakes, I won’t judge you/ Nothin’ that you can say if you want me to hate you, I’m still gonna love you.”

“This song is about love,” Stefani said in a statement. “A love that can’t be broken, a love that no matter what is always going to be there, and a love that can always bring you back home.”

Stefani initially recorded Bouquet backed by a full live band. The LP marks Stefani’s fifth solo album and her first since 2016’s This Is What the Truth Feels Like.Bouquet represents a blend of everything that I’ve ever been and who I’ve evolved into,” the musician explained of the LP in a statement. “Each one of the songs was picked like individual flowers to create a bouquet of the past, the present, and the seeds of hope for the future.”

She told Rolling Stone, “I wanted it to be one big statement, and that’s why I feel Bouquet is a really perfect title. Like each song was handpicked with meaning.”

Although Stefani has been focused on her solo career, she embraced an opportunity to reunite with No Doubt for the FireAid benefit concert in January. During the show, the Orange County natives performed “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak,” and “Spiderwebs.”

No Doubt reunited last year for the first time in over a decade to perform a special set at Coachella. They were joined onstage by Olivia Rodrigo. They haven’t released an album of new material since 2012’s Push and Shove.
