GloRilla, Kehlani Share Reflective Holiday Single ‘Xmas Time’

The festive track dropped with a collaborative music video, complete with snow

GloRilla and Kehlani have teamed up to bring you the holiday spirit. The duo released a collaborative single, “Xmas Time,” which sees them celebrating the festive period and all it means.

“I remember those days when the nights got cold,” the two musicians sing. “Leaning on each other made our hearts grow more/ Nothing compares to the love at Christmas time.”

The singers announced the track earlier this week, with GloRilla sharing the news on Instagram along with the caption, “Good luck with yo Mrs dis as merry as I’m getting.” The song arrived with a Christmas-themed music video, complete with snow, Christmas trees, and mistletoe-adorned microphones.

“Xmas Time” comes only two months after GloRilla dropped her debut LP, Glorious. GloRilla started her year off with the standout singles “Yeah Glo!” and “Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion — later remixed with Cardi B — which both appeared on her EP, Ehhthang Ehhthang. That release was followed up with “TGIF,” which she shared in June while on tour with Megan Thee Stallion.

GloRilla recently teamed up with Busta Rhymes for Rolling Stone‘s Musicians on Musicians series. The rapper admitted that her newfound fame has taken some getting accostomed to. “I did finally get used to it, but the first year and a half I was like, ‘This can’t be happening for real,’” she said. “But I knew when had got used to it because I’m trying to keep it going. I don’t want to just live in a moment. I want to keep it going.”

Kehlani, meanwhile, dropped Crash earlier this year, the singer’s fourth LP and first since 2022’s Blue Water Road. The musician recently wrapped a lengthy North American tour in support of the album, which concluded on Nov. 2 in San Francisco.
