The rap stars, who collaborated on Glorious, recreate a Set It Off scene in the visual
What’s the procedure when a bad bitch walks into the room? That’s the question GloRilla and Latto are asking in their video for “Procedure,” which dropped Tuesday.
In the Benny Bloom-directed clip, the pair of rap stars play bank robbers as they recreate a scene from 1996’s Set It Off, when Vivica Fox’s character Frankie, a bank teller, is asked about her involvement in a robbery: “What’s the fuckin’ procedure?”
The video continues with the pair of stars taking all the cash, and sneaking into a walk-in safe to count bills and show off their newfound firearms. “Bitch, I’m big mama, but ain’t none these n—-s worth my womb,” raps Latto, before Glo continues: “This n—a tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes.”
The video ends with GloRilla waking up from a dream to a call from her mom reminding her it’s time to get to work. “I love you too, boo, damn!” her mom says before ending the call.
“Procedure” is the second time the pair of rap queens have collaborated. They first joined forces on “FTCU” in 2022. “Procedure” was featured on GloRilla’s album Glorious, which dropped in October 2024.
Glo was nominated for two Grammys for “Yeah Glo!,” which was up for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance over the weekend. Latto was also up for a Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Big Mama.”
GloRilla will likely perform the song on the road when she starts her Glorious Tour in March. GloRilla will kick off her run in Oklahoma City on March 5 before stops in Dallas, Atlanta, D.C., New York, and Chicago, among other cities. She’s also performing Coachella on the run and there’s a to-be-determined date in her native Memphis.
