The concerts are in support of the band’s forthcoming, highly anticipated reunion project of the same name, touted as a special album. The record is set to be preceded by a pre-release single on January 6, before the full album drops on January 13.

GFRIEND appeared in the most recent episode of Dingo Music’s Killing Voice series, coming together for the first time in years to perform a slate of their hit songs in the lead-up to their January release.

Members Sowon, Yerin and Yuju have gone on to pursue solo music and acting careers after leaving Source Music. Meanwhile, Eunha, SinB and Umji regrouped as new girl group VIVIZ, who released their fifth mini-album ‘Voyage’ just last month.

In an interview with NME, SinB shared: “We debuted [as GFRIEND] when we were very young, so it felt like we were solely following the company’s concept, and that fit the group at the time. But as VIVIZ, it feels like we are doing everything from one to 10.”
