Per a report from The Korea Herald, the agency is currently exploring the option of opening a fourth branch outside of South Korea, following locations in Japan, the United States and Hong Kong. Additionally, they also run an office in Singapore, though that is not considered to be a legal entity or expansion.

Galaxy Corporation have yet to confirm a firm date for an expansion into India, per The Korea Herald. Should the expansion go through, they will be just the second K-pop agency to set up in India, following HYBE – which announced its plans to establish an Indian subsidiary earlier this year.

A source told The Korea Herald earlier this week: “Galaxy Corp.’s business division is conducting market research related to entry into India and is also working on establishing an Indian subsidiary. At the end of last year, G-Dragon’s team also inquired locally about concert demand and performance guarantees for the artist’s solo show.”

As for G-Dragon himself, his latest album ‘Übermensch’ scored a four-star review from NME, with Rhian Daly writing: “Throughout his career, G-Dragon has always commanded the attention of the biggest names in music. Even after a long break, that hasn’t changed – ‘Take Me’ features a guitar solo from disco legend Nile Rodgers, while ‘Drama’ was co-written with US hitmaker Diane Warren (Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey). As he references on ‘Power’, he’s long been known as “GOAT, the livin’ legend”. ‘Übermensch’ is firmly on par with G-Dragon’s best work and yet more proof of his unwavering greatness.”
