Dave Grohl and co. are due to head Down Under this November for a run of huge stadium shows, following their UK/European leg and North American dates over the summer/autumn.

The forthcoming trek will begin in Brisbane on November 5, with further performances scheduled in Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Christchurch, Auckland and Perth.

“WE’RE COMING BACK!!!” the Foos wrote on social media alongside the new dates last night (Tuesday February 17).

Support across the concerts comes from Full Flower Moon Band, Mini Skirt, Downgirl, The Bellair Lip Bombs, Teens, The Buoys, C.O.F.F.I.N, Frenzee, Kurralta Park, Spooky Eyes, Dartz, Seek Help!, Dick Move, Ringlets, The Southern River Band, and Last Quokka.

Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time next Wednesday (February 25) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Monday (23).

Foo Fighters’ Australia and New Zealand ‘Take Cover’ tour dates are:

NOVEMBER 2026
05 – Lang Park, Brisbane
07 – North Queensland Stadium, Townsville
10 – Stadium Australia, Sydney
12 – McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle
14 – Marvel Stadium, Melbourne
17 – Coopers Stadium, Adelaide
19 – One New Zealand Stadium, Christchurch
22 – Western Springs Stadium, Auckland

JANUARY 2027
25 – HBF Park, Perth

The announcement comes shortly after Foo Fighters updated their website to feature snippets of new songs, likely from a forthcoming album.

Recent months have seen the band drop hints about the follow-up to 2023’s ‘But Here We Are’. Grohl confirmed that a new record was finished in January, with the Foos subsequently sharing some teasers online.

Last summer, the group marked their 30th anniversary by sharing a new single called ‘Today’s Song’. They later released the track ‘Asking For A Friend’ in October, saying it was “one of many songs to come”.

Foo Fighters are set to play in the UK and Europe this summer, including festival appearances at Mad Cool, Pinkpop and more, as well as two massive shows at Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium. Find any remaining tickets here.

In other news, ex-Foos drummer Josh Freese has spoken of life after his exit from the band, saying “no one should feel sorry” for him.
