FKA Twigs Drops Out of Coachella, Cancels More North American Tour Dates Amid Visa Issues

The singer also nixed her performance at Axe Ceremonia in Mexico City this weekend

FKA Twigs‘ remaining North American tour dates in April have been cancelled due to “ongoing visa issues.” The nixed shows include her performances at Coachella in Indio, California, later this month, and Axe Ceremonia in Mexico City this weekend.

The artist announced the cancellations on X Friday, writing that she was “devastated” that “due to ongoing visa issues i am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of april across north america, including ceremonia and coachella.” The news arrives after Anitta stated last month that she was stepping away from this year’s Coachella over “unexpected personal reasons.”

Twigs emphasized that she remained “excited to bring you a creation that i have poured my soul into and i believe is amongst my strongest work,” adding, “i know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows.” The singer promised that she was working to reschedule impacted dates, and advised fans with tickets to cancelled headline shows to refer to their “point of purchase for details and refund information.”

She added, she would be “back to you all with more updates as soon as i have them,” and shared images of her favorite moments from the tour that she and her team “worked so hard to create.”

In late March, less than two weeks after kicking off her Eusexua tour in Paris, Twigs postponed dates in Chicago, Toronto, and New York and said that her production team failed to complete the proper paperwork for their visas. She said in a TikTok video at the time that she was “completely heartbroken,” and that “All I want to do is be there with you and bring Eusexua to you.”
