First Aid Kit announce 2027 ‘Visions Of The Past’ UK and Ireland tour

First Aid Kit are set to bring their ‘Visions Of The Past’ tour to the UK and Ireland in 2027. Find all the details here.

The Swedish duo will return to these shores early in the new year, after treating fans to the career-spanning show in Scandinavia and other European locations.

Kicking off in Dublin on January 18, the forthcoming trek also includes concerts in Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Cardiff and Brighton throughout the rest of the month.

The band are then due to conclude the run of dates with a performance at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, on January 28.

First Aid Kit (comprising sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg) will be joined by their younger brother, Isak Benjamin, as support at all shows.

“We’re so very happy to announce that we’re bringing our ‘Visions Of The Past’ tour to the UK and Ireland in January!” the duo said in a statement.

“These will be stripped-back intimate shows where we’ll go through our back catalogue, from our very first EP in 2008 to brand new songs that no one has heard yet!”

They continued: “Our dear brother Isak Benjamin will be opening for us, so it’ll truly be a family affair. Let us know if there are any rare old songs of ours or covers, you’d love to hear us play. We can’t wait to see you all!”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (October 9) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Wednesday (October 7) by signing up here.

First Aid Kit’s ‘Visions Of The Past’ UK and Ireland tour dates for 2027 are:

Last week, First Aid Kit performed their 2014 album ‘Stay Gold’ in full with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London. They also paid tribute to the late Dolly Parton at the concert with a cover of her classic hit ‘I Will Always Love You’.

The band’s fifth and latest studio record, ‘Palomino’, was released in 2022. NME gave the collection a four-star review, writing: “‘Palomino’ flits between the certainties and uncertainties of love with ease, strengthened by deeper musical experimentation that won’t alienate longtime fans. Another gem in First Aid Kit’s consistently good arsenal of timeless, harmony-rich roots music.”
