Fifth Harmony make surprise return at Jonas Brothers concert, Camila Cabello reacts

Fifth Harmony have made their surprising return at a recent Jonas Brothers concert – putting an end to their seven-year hiatus.

The band, who went on indefinite hiatus in 2018, now consists of Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane – Camila Cabello left the group in 2016. On Sunday, Brooke, Normani, Jauregui and Jane surprised fans at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Texas, when they appeared as special guests at a Jonas Brothers concert.

For their first set together in seven years, the four-piece performed ‘Worth It’ and ‘Work From Home’. Following the performance, the newly-reunited group took to social media to confirm their return: “Where were you on August 31, 2025?”

Former member Camila Cabello has since shared her love and support for the returning group, commenting with four heart emojis on the group’s Instagram post. It remains to be seen if she will be returning to the group in the future.

Earlier this year, The Hollywood Reporter reported that unnamed sources “familiar with the matter” said the girl group are looking to return in 2026 as a four-piece, without Camila Cabello.

They alleged the group’s reunion will coincide with the 10th anniversary of their sophomore album ‘7/27’ and the hit song ‘Work From Home’. The group will also reportedly work on a documentary chronicling their return, and a yet-to-be-announced tour. Back in October 2023, member Ally Brooke teased to E! News that they were “working on something”.

However, in June last year, Normani addressed the rumours head on, saying when asked if there was any weight to Brooke’s claims: “I don’t know. Not to my knowledge. But I definitely see that being a possibility in the future. That would be a special moment for sure.”

Since the group went on hiatus, all four remaining members of Fifth Harmony have explored solo careers, with Normani releasing her long-awaited debut album ‘Dopamine’ in June last year. The album scored a four-star review in NME: “It’s typical of an album that shimmers with a cool, calm and yes, unhurried confidence. It may have taken six years, but ‘Dopamine’ sounds like the (damn) album Normani was meant to make all long.”
