Normani is the star of the 2025 NFL Kickoff commercial. The singer put a spin on Quad City DJ’s 1996 hit “C’mon N’ Ride It (The Train),” this time branding it as “C’mon Ride the Float” to soundtrack the legions of football fans ready to cheer their favorite team to victory.
A few fans and familiar faces, including social media stars Druski and the Rizzler, make appearances in the commercial. “I’m on a dolphin, not the float,” Druski semi-raps before yelling cut. “Guys, my legs are chaffing. I need some baby powder, seriously.” In a statement, he shared, “I’ve always been an NFL fan, so getting the chance to be part of this season’s Kickoff campaign was a no-brainer.”
The Rizzler jumps in on behalf of the New York Giants, declaring, “Giant-sized hopes, you can’t handle the rizz.” Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts makes a cameo, as well, but Normani is rooting for another Pennsylvania team. The singer sports a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey in the commercial. Earlier this year, she announced her engagement to their wide receiver DK Metcalf.
“Being part of the NFL Kickoff commercial is such a monumental and personal moment for me,” Normani shared in a statement. “I cannot remember a time when football was not a huge part of my household growing up, so now that I’m part of an NFL campaign, it means the world to my family.”
