This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features fresh new music, including albums by Máximo Grado (Somos Leyenda), Fito Paez (Novela), Venesti (Origen) and Natanael Cano (Recordando Ariel Camacho).
Plus, Emilia, Tini and Nicki Nicole team up for “blackout,” an electro-pop cheeky collaboration powered by fast-paced merengue rhythms that redefines what “being hot” means. And Debi Nova releases pop-rock track “Tu Manera de Amar,” which is “a kind of ritual for me, a cleansing, a dance, a shaking off of everything I want to leave behind and the perfect beginning for this new era,” she wrote on social media. “So I hope you shake it off and dance to it and make it your own.”
Elsewhere, Máximo Grado recruits heavyweights in regional Mexican music — such as Natanael Cano, Eden Muñoz, Carín León and Fuerza Regida, to name a few — for the group’s Somos Leyenda. Colombian artist Venesti releases his sophomore album, a return to his roots of sorts but still staying true to his Afropop signature sound, featuring collaborations with Guaynaa, Nacho and Young F, among others.
Other new releases this week in our playlist include Kevin Kaarl’s take on “El Triste,” Morat and Camilo’s “Me Toca a Mí,” Mon Laferte’s “Otra Noche de Llorar” and Feid and Ty Dolla $ign’s “DOLLAX,” among others.
