Documentary About Blackpink’s Lisa in Production From Director Sue Kim

The singer released her solo debut LP, Alter Ego, earlier this year before performing at Coachella

K-Pop star Lisa, best known as one of the members of Blackpink, will be the subject of a new documentary film from Sony Music Vision and director Sue Kim.

During a presentation of the film at the Sony Music Vision upfront last night, Kim confirmed she worked with Lisa for over a year. The documentary, which does not yet have a release date, includes footage of Lisa’s 2025 debut solo performance at Coachella and at home in Thailand. Kim said it will focus on showing the singer in her offstage moments, according to Billboard.

“Following Lisa on this transformative and thrilling year has been a true honor and a cinematic gift,” Kim said in a statement. “There have been so many moments on her journey that I think will surprise people and give a glimpse into her world that no one’s ever seen before. I’m excited for viewers to watch the film and witness this extraordinary moment in her life.”

“This has been such an incredible year and I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to capture these special moments on film and share the experience with my fans,” Lisa shared in a statement. “Working with Sue Kim has been such a joy. We’ve been all around the world together and I know this is just the beginning of many more exciting things to come.”
