DJ Khaled’s Teases New Album Featuring Drake With a Cinematic Album Trailer

In the Aalam of God clip featuring Mark Wahlberg he hints at two Drake songs and a Rihanna collaboration

DJ Khaled is officially in album mode. Today the Miami producer released a seven-minute trailer for Aalam of God, his 14th studio album. The post’s lengthy caption reads, “This not my last album this my black album *JAY VOICE*,” referring to Jay-Z’s classic 2005 album. He also reveals that the album title translates to “the word of God” in Arabic (his son’s name is also Aalam).

He reveals two possible collaborators in the caption, first noting, “FYI… DRAKES BACK TO WORK… SO AM I! THIS THE ONE WITH✌🏽DRAKES.” And he also tells his We The Best partner AyoJuan to “send that record over to @badgalriri .. u know…I JUST WANNA BREATHE – THE AIR THAT RIHANNA BREATHES.”

The meta trailer showcases Khaled trying to protect his upcoming album from being stolen by a crew of robbers. It begins with Khaled making a giant jump from a building to evade the would-be thieves.
During the trailer, actor Mark Wahlberg, the mastermind of the Aalam heist, tells his underlings, “This guy’s two Drake songs on there. What if he’s got another 100-bar from Jay-Z and that thing gets out on the fucking street?” Wahlberg is referring to Jay-Z’s momentous four-minute verse on “God Did,” which garnered three Grammy nominations in 2023. Jay-Z and Khaled performed the song alongside John Legend, Lil Wayne, Fridayy, and Rick Ross at the showcase. The track is the eponymous song from his 13th album, which was released in 2022.
