Cruz Beckham shares romantic new indie single ‘For Your Love’

Cruz Beckham has shared another new single in the form of the romantic, indie-tinged ‘For Your Love’.

The musician launched his music career last October with two singles, ‘Optics’ and ‘Lick The Toad’, and now has followed up those two songs with a lovestruck, retro-sounding new single. “Lose all direction/In the midst of limitation/Sacrifice my reputation/For your love,” he sings.

“I love this song. It’s been so fun to play live over the last couple of months,” Beckham said. “It was the first track I properly finished with Justin and Lewis, who are total legends at what they do, and we all walked away knowing this had really laid the foundations for everything else we’ve created together. For me, it’s all about love and being fearless in that love, but I hope everyone can interpret it in their own way and find their own meaning to it.”

The video features Beckham along with his band The Breakers formed of Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas and Dario Scotti, and features a cameo from his grandad.

Beckham and the Breakers are heading out on tour across the UK and Europe later this month, starting in Birmingham on February 25 before continuing on to Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Southampton, Brighton, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin, before culminating in three nights in London at The Courtyard Theatre.

Beckham said: “I’m so excited to get out on the road, I’ve always been inspired by bands who do it the right way, so I wanna get out there and play loads of small gigs. I cannot wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the tracks, I can’t believe people have actually spent their hard earned money to come and see me and my band, so we’re gonna put on a show! I’m so buzzing to have our own banner for The Breakers, we’ve only been a support band so far so this time we get our own banner!!”
